Mike Shinoda’s Tribute Shows The Day Chester Bennington Joined Linkin ParkLinkin Park’s Mike Shinoda posted a tribute to his late bandmate, Chester Bennington, on Instagram. It features a photo of the band from the late ‘90s. Shinoda says it was the day they asked Bennington to join the band. Linkin Park also shared an open letter to Bennington online.
Wisconsin Company First In U.S. To Microchip EmployeesA company in Wisconsin is putting technology in the palm of their employees' hands, literally. Vending machine designer Three Square Market is the first U.S. company offering microchip implants to their staff. The chips will reportedly let employees buy snacks, log in to computers, and even open doors. The RFID chip is implanted between the thumb and forefinger. It uses the same tech seen in credit cards and mobile payment software. Critics have raised concerns over employee privacy and what information the chips will send. According to Three Square Market CEO Todd Westby, the chips' data is securely encrypted and are not GPS-enabled so they can't track people.
