Thank you. I’m happy my story was able to do that for you. I share it (or bits and pieces) hpoing that it’ll help someone in a positive way. That’s what makes going through it worth it for me. I’m never on myspace anymore, but I can certainly add you as a friend. myspace.com/jaz04 (there’s also a link to my page in the Links section). I’ve heard good things about JoCo. I would definitely look into attending the annual workshop put on by the Kansas City Association of Black Journalists. It’s a two week intensive workshop that taught me more about journalism (print & broadcast) then college ever did. Contact them directly or contact Louis Duigood at the Kansas City Star. He’s great!

I was sent this book to review and just fnihsied it recently. I really enjoyed it. I’m a historical fiction fan, so I might be biased, but I love reading a book that you can just “settle into” and enjoy. Great story. Thanks for the review!
