Tailgate Take: The Embarrassing Side Of Funny

By far and away the most embarrassing part of doing Tailgate Fan is searching for costumes for the weekly character bit! Surprisingly, it’s not playing an array of characters in unitards…

Ok, that’s just Gross!

Nor is the most embarrassing part dressing up like as a lady!

Maybe if I’m drunk!

Maybe in my nightmares!

The pinnacle of embarrassment is not even changing in the middle of the parking lot, or you know, rubbing a ‘Jersey Shore tan’ all over my hard body!

See when Jerry Miller and Tailgate Fan will be near you.

The most embarrassing part, is shopping for these ridiculous costumes. Maybe, that’s because I feel comfortable with the fanimals that let their freak flag fly on Sundays. But, walking into a ladies clothing shop in your neighborhood to try on a women’s sweatshirt that looks like this…

Sassy Pickens!

Or trying on a blouse at the Salvation Armani where there are no changing rooms…

I got that over one arm.

Or sliding into this little number at some tweanie-bopper shop!

What? You don’t believe I actually tried these sweatshirts on…

Sorry… That’s something you can’t un-see!

Yes, this part of my job is completely humiliating. But, if it means I get paid to tailgate every Sunday… it’s a small price to pay. And in the end, we found the purrrfect sweater for Kathy the Kitty Kitsch Collector!

And she met her match!
