* 2 generous scoops vanilla ice cream

* 12 ounces stout beer (like Guinness)

* Ground cinnamon (optional)

* ¼ teaspoon almond extract (optional)

* Whipped cream (optional)


1. Chill a mug in the freezer for at least an hour.

2. Place two scoops of ice cream in the glass.

3. Add cinnamon and/or almond extract over the ice cream.

4. Pour the beer over everything and serve immediately.

5. Top with whipped cream if you’re in that sort of a mood.
