Video: Tailgate Fan Gets Its Preakness On

While the weather in Baltimore on Saturday was dour, the mood was anything but. Oxbow upset Orb to win the 118th Preakness Stakes; horse racing will have to wait at least another year to see a Triple Crown.

The second leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown is as much about the party as it is the horse race. Infield revelers gorged themselves on alcohol, food, music and, um, alcohol. It’s traditionally one of the craziest scenes in the sports world. This year was no different.

Pitbull headlined the race-day festivities, supported by Macklemore and Chevelle. The bikini contest added some skin to the game. But the Black-Eyed Susan — a potent mix of Vodka, lemon, blackberry and bitters that is the race’s official drink — may have stole the show.

Jerry Miller and Tailgate Fan waded through the muck and mire to bring you the sites and sounds of Preakness infield.
