Detroit’s Best Stadium Food

Getting ready to head to the stadium to check out your favorite Michigan sports team? Before packing a sandwich, read up on what Comerica Park, Ford Field, Joe Louis Arena, The Palace and Cooley Law School Stadium have to offer in the way of eats.

Comerica Park

Home of the Detroit Tigers, newly-designed Comerica Park not only features a pedestrian museum and ferris wheel, it offers great food. There are of course hot dogs, but this place also offers everything from sushi and salads to sliders and Coney dogs.

Ford Field

Ford Field offers the standard stadium classics: All-you-can eat seats include hot dogs, burgers, cheeseburgers, soft pretzels, fries, nachos, chips, popcorn and soft drinks.

Joe Louis Arena

600 Civic Center Dr
Detroit, Mich. 48226

The usual fare available like nachos, hot dogs and such, but what makes this stand out is deli sandwiches. They are large and a meal in themselves.

Cooley Law School Stadium

505 East Michigan Avenue
Lansing, Mich. 48912
(517) 485-4500

Go Nuts with the Lansing Lugnuts at Cooley Stadium. They went all out to provide a great atmosphere for baseball. You’ll love their Turkey legs and grilled corn on the cob..and of course barbeque. In the suites you can check out a few of the more bold choices on the menu including hickory smoked bacon wrapped BBQ shrimp and parmesan garlic boneless wingnuts. While you’re at it order a bottle from their impressive wine selection.

The Palace of Auburn Hills

Palace Sports & Entertainment
6 Championship Drive
Auburn Hills, Mich. 48326
(248) 377-0100

Not too much in the way of unexpected food choices…but again the concession stands are numerous and not much effort will be needed to find one
